Looking forward to 2016-2017

Now that the academic year has come to an end at Saskatoon Latin School, we are looking forward to 2016-2017. Basic information about classes in the coming year can be found in the box on the left. Registration Day will take place September 10, 2016.

One thing we are working on right now is formalizing the procedure that allows high school students to get a Special Project credit for Latin. One of our students successfully pursued this credit last year under Professor Porter's direction, putting in some extra work after class and at home.

Registration forms and information sheets are available from If you have any questions, please direct them to this email address as well.

Have a great summer!

Cambridge Latin Course Fifth Edition Website: try it for free until 31 July, 2015

Cambridge is allowing free access to the Fifth Edition Website until 31 July, 2015, the publication date for the Fifth Edition. Check out the website in order to get an idea of what the Cambridge Latin Course is offering in its new edition.

On preliminary inspection, it looks like Caecilius is gaining a daughter, Caecilia Lucia.

Nota bene:  Good news and bad news: as of August 5, access to the Fifth Edition Website is still free--and the textbooks are not yet available. We shall keep you posted.
